How Expert Lighting Helped a Family in Mill Neck, Long Island save two beautiful Chandeliers from Being Thrown Out
The Challenge
A family in Mill Neck, NY called Expert Lighting to help them clean two chandeliers that had been sitting in storage and had fallen into disrepair.
The chandeliers were clogged with dust and grime, and had become visually unappealing. If the pieces could not be cleaned, the owners were going to have to give them away, or even throw them out.
The Solution
Expert Lighting sent in a highly trained technician to the family’s home to assess the chandeliers’ damage and overall state. The technician saw that both chandeliers would require a extensive cleaning, along with some minor repairs, although in general, were in good working condition, with no electrical faults, missing or broken parts.
First the chandeliers were carefully disassembled piece by piece. Next, each piece was hand cleaned thoroughly with environmentally safe products that would not stain or corrode the metal.
After the cleaning, the chandeliers were reassembled and installed back on the ceiling.
The Result
The family was extremely pleased with the result. Both chandeliers were looking better than new, and far exceeded any expectations. They now hang proudly in the living room of the customers’ residence.
